Brenda Offerdahl, OD was raised on her family’s ranch in western Montana and received a bachelor’s degree with honors in biology from Montana State University in 1992. She was inducted into the pre-med honor society Alpha Epsilon Delta. In 1996, she received her doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University and completed a preceptorship at Malmstrom Air Force Base.
Upon graduating she began practicing in a corporate optometry setting in Lewiston, Idaho where she has practiced for 22 years. Offerdahl was a founding member of the Optometric Advisory Panel to facilitate communication and education for the 151 optometrists in the corporation. She enjoys the full spectrum of primary care including comprehensive exams, contact lenses, refractive surgery counseling, and pre and post-op cataract care. She and her husband Gary just celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. They have three daughters and enjoy vacations centered around WSU athletics, year-round dance competitions, and frequent trips to Montana to visit extended family and life-long friends.
